As part of our ongoing response to the recent flash floods in Balcad, LARDO successfully conducted a two-day hygiene kits distribution campaign on May 11–12, 2025, targeting the most vulnerable households in the area.
In total, 800 households received essential hygiene items aime
d at improving sanitation and reducing the risk of disease outbreaks in temporary and flood-affected shelters. Each hygiene kit included soap, sanitary pads, buckets, jerry cans, and other basic items to support families’ health and dignity.
This intervention was made possible through collaboration with local authorities and the WASH Cluster. LARDO remains committed to addressing urgent needs in crisis-affected communities and continuing to advocate for long-term support.
“We thank everyone who helped make this activity possible. These kits will help our families feel safer and healthier,” said one local community member.
